OK, good. I was having nightmares that it was a paperweight. Tomorrow I'll put my AW 18650's on the charger and test them to make sure they're 4.2. Then clean both contact surfaces. Is there a recommended chemical to clean such a battery contacting surface?

Oh great. So I have a $500 paper weight? What is the normal warranty? Who exactly do I contact for warranty or repairs? I tried going to optronics.com or viasho.com but I seem to have the name wrong or something. Any help here please! Im not a laser expert!

I purchased this about a month ago from LPF member Dark_Star in his sales thread here. When I first got it, it had a solid beam, although it had an extremely wide beam at the aperture. I don't have a LPM capable of measuring up to 500mW so I assume its a 500mW. Anyway, randomly it just got...

You may find this weird, but believe it or not, people here actually do care about your safety, and especially the safety of others. So please, buy and wear laser safety goggles. Especially when using a ~200mW green laser that is not IR filtered.

Hmmm... Interested. What condition is the WL in? Any visible scratches? For $44 you can buy a new one on eBay here. Also, any more details on the 90mW module? How much are you asking for? What is the min/max voltage it can accept?

I have not tried to light anything with it; I don't think it will. It can though if you use a magnifying glass or some other type of curved glass. The reason why the "Torch" is capable of burning is because it uses a 100w incandescent bulb. Incandescent bulbs emit 98% heat, and only 2% light...

Hi, I'm familiar with cheap DX 50mW modules. But they can only accept 3 volts. They cant even accept an 18650. For my next new flashlight build, I want to make a triple LED Maglite with a 50mW laser in the middle. The laser has to be directly powered by the batteries in the Mag (9~36 volts)...

I don't know what the letters mean, but the numbers are the physical dimensions of the cell for example a 18650 cell is 18mm in diameter, and 65mm in length.
