What motor are you using here?

Yeah I was kind of looking for something a bit cheaper, because I could get 1rpm disco ball motor as well at that price.

I was just wandering if it would go slower if I ran it at 3v as opposed to 12v. I believe I don't have the best grasp on electricity.

Ok I've been wanting to do a Lumia Wheel for a while now and I saw this motor on DX: High Torque 5RPM 12V DC Geared Motor - Free Shipping - DealExtreme. So I was wandering if I ran it at say 3v would it be slow enough for a good effect?

I actually used to have this gun and was thinking the other day how awesome it would be to have a laser on it.

I believe its focusable but not easily as say an aixiz so you focus it how you want and put in your host I don't see away with that module to focus on the fly...
