Stunning laser! After reading this I checked the specs of an older Sony camera I have (dsc v3) and found out it also uses the 4 colour sensor. I am going to have to dig it out and compare the results to my 7d next time I take some beamshots.

Funny, I feel the same way about my high power lasers and have ordered some low power ones for more casual lase-ing. I think it's a legitimate question.

Using the method you described I was able to get the following result after two "warm-up" runs.... Close enough to 350mW for me. One thing to note is that this laser really doesn't warm up very much even after being on for 90 seconds. I could have let it run longer but I prefer to play it safe.

You make a good point. I will retest the laser with different batteries and adjust the focus. If I can't get >350mW then I will get in touch with them.

Actually I did not install HL-340. I was mistaken, it would not install on my system. At this point I think we have done all the computer troubleshooting we can. I don't know what else to suggest except trying another LaserBee on the same computer.

When you say laserbee interface do you mean the metering software or the drivers?

Try this : Go to windows update, check for latest service packs and see if there are dotnet framework updates available.
