All 44-61, 44-71, 44-81, 47-81, 47-A1 have flat lens can while the other 4X series have old style gball lens. All of the 0X series has Gball lens but there is 3 different ones across this series. The can on a NUBM07 is different than a NUBM0A, and the NUBM0F is also different.

44s is more abundant currently but depends over the years one can be more than the other. Only few that have had many of them in hand can tell the difference. But you'll want a microscope to tell for sure.

When you test so many diodes running them at full rated power means you'd need to heatsink them and wait for temperatures to stabilize while a threshold just bypass most of that 😁. But yeah id get a selected few 4 off a block and test those further after i know they are the better of the bank.

So many things can affect a LPM reading. And extracting diodes from a block/bank is a process that can break the diodes easily. Not many people have the patience and tools to extract diodes properly without overheating them or dropping them to hard. I test my diodes at minimum threshold 500mA...

Well the 44s and 47s to have a higher lumen per diode. But you are 100% right x2 blocks of x8 diodes can do 6,000 lumen. But they use x4 to drive them at a more conservative power level for longevity. Even the Sony ones i have here do the same x4 blocks of x8 diodes to get 6,000 lumen with...

Funny enough there was never a "V1" or "V2" just different sources. Only NUBM44-61, NUBM44-71, NUBM44-81 For the NUBM47-A1 The "A1" represents "A" in hex base-36 is "10" (x10 diodes) and "1" (x1 module) But to answer your question the typical wavelength of the 44s is more towards 440-445nm...
