Laserto and Hilasers... Both seem to sell 460nm Blues at 1 mw 5mw 20mw and 50mw. Unfortunately they are "Pen " Style Lasers. I asked Laserto if they will make a CR123 or Li- ion 16340 type Host with 460 nm. Is 460nm a big difference in brightness and Color from 450nm ? One Site says...

I am only guessing and reading but I can guess a big difference as you go up from 445 to 455 and there isva 462 nm Direct Diode . I think my favorite Color judging from Pics would be 473 472 488 and some Orange Yellows, - hopefully these will lower in price..and lase at 5 mw. Z Bolt...

Horizon is more like 25 miles away....but I get your point. Also - accidently hitting an Aircraft is still a crime in most cases. The 10 mile safety zone around an Airport is for any laser with 5 microwatts per sq. centimeter but that is just in the air not striking the Aircraft with the Laser...
