What is your internet connection speed?

I love it. Sometimes even when I suck at a game, I win because of my internet speed.

Hello, Noob looking for some advice.

    I would suggest green over blue since this is your 1st real laser. A 50mW to 100mW 532nm will knock your socks off. O-Like - Silver Chrome 532nm 50mW [OLSGL50] Lazerer - LZCS - 532nm 50mW Focus-able Rayfoss - RF532-50mW-B03

    Overspec Greenie Pen Interest Feeler

I would absolutely buy more super_overspec greenies from Swim. He was a pleasure to deal with. I would also buy overspec 405's. "hint hint" :eg:

Some great sites that sell laser?

The companies I provided you are good selections. I won't select the company for you. What COLOR are you interested in? This is basic. What is your price range? What is affordable to me may not be to you. Do you want a smaller PEN style laser or a larger FLASHLIGHT style laser? With this basic...

Can someone sell me a laser?

Burns what? Do you want to light a match & pop a balloon? That would be around $15. Or do you need to engrave your name in a piece of wood? That would be about $45.

    Best in ear headphones?

If bass is a priority like it is for me, you'll like Radius Earphones. I find it hard to get good bass in earbuds these days without spending upwards of $100, so I was very pleased with these. However if you prefer a lot of mid-range, move along..... ;)

Best Laser for sending signal to space?

You make it sound like you want to communicate with UFO's by lasing them with 2.3W's. Lasers are serious. Especially at the power levels your talking about. Not a good choice as a 1st laser. Get your feet wet first. Once you see what 150mW of green looks like, you'll be hooked. And forget about...

WTB: 405-532 & IR goggles, EU

I ordered two pairs of goggles and a cell phone j**mer from them just over four weeks ago. Delivered in 12 days. I also ordered a couple pairs of goggles from them about a year ago with no problems. When ordering from these cheap Chinese companies, you roll the dice. However you are correct...

    WarnLaser 1300mW 532nm laser. Really?

The 1300mW went down a grand to $1480. :undecided:

    First laser ~ $100

Think about working your way up to 1W since this will be your first "proper" laser. My 1st laser was less than 100mW. Get familiar with higher power lasers and how they behave. They can be unforgiving. You'll be less likely to make a "mistake" when you start venturing into the 1W or more...

    Looking for day-time visibility

Since you prefer lower power then I would recommend 50mW. You'll see the beam clearly at night. As far as quality sources, I recommend Optotronics as an example. But there are plenty of others. Just take a look through the "Companies" section. There's also some less expensive sellers like...

Dumb friend shined a laser in my eye

Check out the eye charts that Things mentioned. If your still worried you can always go see your eye doctor. Just because it was ~100mW doesn't mean you definitely received damage, but you need an expert to tell you that.

Dumb friend shined a laser in my eye

I remember reading that T_J received some permanent eye damage from a 15-20mW green pointer once. I believe he got a direct hit. A 100mW direct hit is fully capable of causing permanent damage. But there are many factors involved.
