Does anyone know where i can find a 3 Ohm or 7 Ohm resistor? if anyone has one or two would you be interested in selling?

thanks amk, i was trying to remember that equation and couldnt, i tried plugging in #'s. didnt work of course. how would i get a 3.5 Ohm resistor they dont make .5's do they?

@ Gazoo, what resistor did you use to get 350mA's? 3-4 Ohms?  come to think about it i would love to know what you use for your whole setup, if you dont mind.  

Re: 52x cd rom writer laser I had lasik done on my eyes, when i had to look at the laser i could smell something burning, doc told me it was "reshapping" my retinas. so a sure tell sign of loosing your sight is a burning smell from the ir before it all goes black. lol

yea...... i saw that, but those only cover certain nm. anything after 30mW is "high" powerd right (thought i read that somewhere). not to say 30 is the where the line is drawn, but 30 is a good #

i got the yellow, thats all they had. yea i tried to put those rubber things back in but they wouldnt stay and the battery didnt give enough room, so mines not water proof either. it didnt come with a case, the yellow only has 1 LED, yours came with 3 right?

milos, i saw what pot you used i have a ton of those little ones and dont know a thing about them, how do you know if it will work in the driver?
