i been paying attention to mA and not the battery voltage. im using DDLs driver, plan on using a phazor LD from the GB and just ordered some batteries that the volts are supposed to be 3.0 to 3.2 under load but charge up to 3.6. is 3.6 too much for my setup? how do find out if it is?

i agree with firemylaser. drivers dont cost alot either. i make my own for around $5 and i bought some professionaly built ones for $4 each

jayrob makes one for the MXDL flashlight only and it fits AixiZ or meridith  for $22 shipped if you are talking about a heatsink inside an AixiZ module. you could unscrew the cap off and put a straw all the way through the hole, melt some soda cans and pours them inside the housing. let it cool...

most people are using a 3 Ohm resistor, thats what i plan on, it will give you 420mA with the LM317T, if you have a pot you dont really need it to make the driver work either. dont forget your safety glasses!!!

i want to say yes but dont hold me too it.  im not as knowledgable as most here but i remeber reading someone said that 150mW could burn real well so 120mW may not be the fastest but it should burn a sharpied match at least.  never heard of cloth being burned though

also i need to get some clarification with this mod. i am using DDL driver with 2 rcr123. do i take out the star emittor thing and the bat contact board and all of that and just hook my DDL to the bat and thats it? or do i need to include the bat contact board in it. thinkin about i probly do so...

does the MXDL have a push button on the end or is it a twist on?
