125mW pulsar review - View topic :: Laser Community Done long time ago. I suggest you buy from members of this forum, as the pulsar doesn't have a circuit board to regulate the current, which means they run at lower powers (75-140mW). I suggest you go ask Mohrenberg.

Alkalines has a poor life in high mA-drawing laser, the max power output is the same. You're best of using Ni-Mh batteries if you choose the pen style. I say you go with what TheLight suggested you, because green lasers drains a lot and rechargable lithiums are a good way to counter this...
