Nice work. I can't tell you how many electronics I have fixed with a cap change out. Flat screens, computer monitors ( crt and flat panels) stereo gear, powered sub woofers, antique radios and on and on. Just fixed an antique Hammond organ for a friend about a month ago.

In most cases heat is our enemy. I think that more emphasis should be devoted to the heatsinking of laser drivers. I like the way "sinner" uses a half moon copper piece to heat sink his drivers to the hosts in some of his builds. Sinner has it going on!!!! linked...

Sounds good for a reversible potting compound. I like the fact that at a future date you can get back into the build and troubleshoot or upgrade when needed. Have you measured the electrical conductivity of the potting??? How well does it set up or harden, will it stay in place like a glue...

Outstanding build, what a monster, 2 36650 cells should give you a long duty cycle. Mind the reflections of the tank's acrylic sides and wear your eye protection. Love the purple 2D MagLit host.
