So before we send a PM to a new member we have to check here if he has already got one in this topic, right? And if not, we send one to him and then post his name here?
Don't get me wrong I just read the first post in a very fast manner. Sorry.
By the way this is an awesome idea, I'm in. :gj:
You don't have to be an electrician to know stuff like that... just a laserist:D
"And any picture of the "IR Filter" is ??" : It's like a small lens that block the infrared radiation on green lasers... just search on google or use the search button to see how it looks!:)
I own a 20mW 532nm, I didn't used it on astronomy but my 15mW one. And I can tell you: it's perfect, maybe a bit to powerful, even a Chinese one will work. I don't know why you want to spend that much money for a laser that you won't use on taking beamshots or stuff... just using it on pointing...
Dude! Compare the brightness of the star you are pointing with the one of a beam of an 100mW 532nm laser! Trust me! I was in astronomy a few years ago.... Do you ever had such a powerful laser?
Isn't that too bright for astronomy? I mean our eyes have to get used with the darkness and then you point with an 100mW@532nm on the sky? Correct me if I'm wrong.
@Eudaimonium: LPF isn't WINDOWS, you're right, but if you stay and think we are like folders: our history and data is like a video or a song for WINDOWS.
Anyways, somebody that know how is done should reply here...
Glad to hear that, Ash! Thanks!:)
EDIT: Can someone add this location to my account too: Tg. Ocna, Romania? This is my home, well, only on holidays but is the place I can call "home". The another location is the city where I study.
Hi everyone!:) So I have some problems trying to download Powerpoint for a school project (damn, I hate them) considering the fact that my Windows (7 Ultimate) is not genuine and I don't want to be discovered or something like that. Please someone give me some advices or links! Thank you for...
Yes, I think it can. It's the same thing as pointing a laser in a window, the reflection can burn the diode, that's why high powered lasers like 445 1W uses AR.
