Which 18650 battery for my new laser?

It really doesn't matter too much, some 18650s have a rating for how much power they can put out (max discharge rating I think), but I don't think that's ever really a problem. Diodes that need more power will call for 2 batteries so it doubles the voltage. Any 18650 should work, and even if...

    Sanwu or jet lasers?

Personally I prefer Jetlasers, they have been around longer and have almost always been great, I also personally prefer their host design. I also have a 900mW 520nm for sale in the BST section. I'm asking $300 but the price is negotiable, check it out :)

Trying to find a nice 1W Green laser pointer! :)

    It's a custom build, takes 2x18350. It's 900mW and 520nm.

    Suggestions for 1-1.5w 520nm or 532nm handheld

I have a 900mW 520nm for sale, you won't tell the difference between 900mW and 1W. It was a custom build and won't just die on you like some cheap mass produced chinese lasers can.

Where to buy CNI or similar Yellow/Orange

There are 2 people selling 50mW units on the forum right now, check out the buy sell trade section. Otherwise, check out dragonlasers. Their lasers are made by cni I believe.

TEC Controllers for DPSS Lasers - a question

Not familiar with this at all just throwing this out there, could you use something like a fan controller for a pc? The one I have for mine even came with thermocouples. Granted it wasn't cheap but I know they make cheaper ones.

Lazer beam on blue lazer pen distorted

Do you know the laser can permanently damage your vision or even blind you faster than you can blink? Would you mess around with a loaded pistol with no safety on it?

Lazer beam on blue lazer pen distorted

Do you have safety goggles? Please make a post introducing yourself in the welcome section. Where did you get the laser from?

Lazer beam on blue lazer pen distorted

I advise you to buy a lighter for your cigarette lighting needs. Do you have safety goggles? Where are you from? By your lingo I assume the UK?

    Heatsinks and another question.

Personally I would just drop the kipkay altoids tin idea and just use a proper host. You will have a lot less trouble and more reliable laser that way.

What is the power meter commonly used?

I am selling my Ophir 20C power sensor and meter, it can read up to 18W heatsinked (maybe more) which can be done for less than $10-$20. And 4W otherwise. Response time is faster than most any other lpm you can get in the price range too (0.8 seconds to 95%). It can take readings stand alone...

FS: 1.2 W 445nm Blue lasers for sale

I apologize as well, I assumed you got these in bulk from some cheap source and were just trying to make a quick buck. I might suggest if your going to do custom builds then do something a little more exciting than 1.2W 445nm. But that's just my two cents. Good luck with your sale.
