luckily I dont have TV! Any Messier objects would be outstanding! With the 6" would Messier list objects be pretty distinguishable? Or just colourful dots?

Im really liking that orion xt6 with barlow kit, however, its only an extra $50 for the 8. Would that be a better investment?

1W is a scary amount of power. You have no idea how many reflective objects are in your house and all it will take is one slight reflection for permanent damage

This is a great little project! Good job! It may even be worth messaging john from priceangels to see if he has any DOA returns or defective units he would like to sell for cheap. Who knows maybe he could even get the host alone like rayfoss does with those green hosts.
