Im leaving wednesday for the final launch of the space shuttle. Im sure a good number of you have seen a launch, and was wondering if you had any tips on things like viewing location, how early to get to the spot, favorite cheap hotels.... Any help is much appreciated. I'm pretty damn excited!

Oh, I just noticed your sig. Is your 200mw the reason for mixed feelings? I will never go for a cheap 150mw+ green. I stick with the cheap 100-150mw greens and once I decide to go bigger I will probably go with a more trusted name.

I would go to Minneapolis instead of albert lea. Its supposed to be one hell of a city. I want to do the same thing this summer but on motorcycles and head a little more southwest.

Take some time to read around, take a look at some custom builds, and get an idea of what you really want. I can assure you, if you read about the experiences other members here have had with those lasers, your opinion may change. P.S. there are usually quite a few 445 builds in the BST section...
