    Dragon Lasers' Modules

I can't speak for their modules, but the 532nm 300mW portable they sold me is easily over 300mW, even with batteries I haven't charged in 2-4 months.

    Woh!  Viper 125mW only $300!?

Re: Woh!  Viper 125mW only $300!? I bought the 300mW Spartan GW from them before they stopped selling it and it checks out at at least 310mW for the first 2-3 minutes I tested it, peaking at around 360 using Kenom's meter with thermal head to do the measurement.

DX200 burning through a cd case

Pretty sure I read that doing that will adversely affect the lifetime of the diode

    Cheap source for BluRay goggles!

Not really sure why, DL has these goggles for 50 bucks: Complete protection from green and blue light (200-540nm). OD>3 for 200-500nm, OD>2.5 for 500-540nm http://www.dragonlasers.com/catalog/Laser-Safety-Glasses-p-16184.html

Aquarius-5 vs Red Bull and Tide

If you don't have Alive 2007 yet, as a fan of Daft Punk, words are not enough to convey how much I recommend this album. It's the best live album I've ever heard, and the best Daft Punk album so far, I think.

Aquarius-5 vs Red Bull and Tide

Yeah, I've got a 150mW 405 on its way to me in the future. Kenom is just waiting on the drive right now for the diode. I'm gonna redo the video with a bluray laser, and then I'm gonna mix the tide/red bull and see what happens.

Aquarius-5 vs Red Bull and Tide

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLSkgFMSJGM I guess it goes to show how healthy Red Bull is when it glows a violent yellow-green under 473.

    Aquarius

I have an Aquarius-5 from Laserglow, and it fuckin rules. The beam is really visible in the dark, and mine peaks around 12-13mW with good batteries. I'd definitely recommend it, unless you have the extra couple hundred to get a 20mW RPL blue, which would be that much more awesome.

    1/2 watt red laser diode

No you need at least 500 WATTS to do that, not milliwatts

    novalasers alpha105

    1) Consult the power ability chart on the Nova website 2) Maybe if you're directly behind it 3) You should ALWAYS get safety glasses with a laser over 5mW. The X-series is more portable and fits in your pocket, the Alpha series has a 5-point bullshit I mean safety system that will treat you...

    LASER SNOW!!

That was actually me breathing out in the hope that I'd get that effect, but I didn't actually see it happen myself, so I'm glad my camera did.
