Keep in mind that mostly only the bad Wickedlasers experiences are getting reported here. When everything is fine, most people are just fine and enjoy. Nowadays with hundreds / thousands of orders a month, a handful of (temporary) unhappy people isn´t much. Guess they would get 98-99 % positive...

I´m not into series, but I enjoyed Prison Break season 1 a lot. I´m much more into movies, especially into South Korean and France movies. Do you also consider anime-series recommendations? There are some around that I guess >80% of people between 16-40 gonna totally enjoy.

When you´re lazy and/or good with medium-possible quality, the Sigma 18-250 is fine. Otherwise I would think about one of the biggest advantages when getting into DSLRs, changing lenses! Imo you´re learning the most with training the photographic eye when starting with a fixed focal lense, like...

Heard great things about the Pentax 55-300 f/4-5.8. You should get this one for about $220 used locally. It has a better optical quality than the Sigma 18-250. Additionally an 18-55 for the lower end should run you about $80.

The Pentax K-5 is a fine cam. Personally I wouldn´t buy the lense you have in mind. A big focal length range always goes hand in hand with optical compromises. The Sigma 18-250 is not a bad lense, anyway, I would buy the Pentax 17-70 f/4. It performs a lot better. You might get it for a similar...

589nm is a different pair of shoes. Mine likes it cool up to about 68-70° F for running at full power. Btw, Adam might be able to help hosting CNI GB as well. Getting us better prices than we would get directly from CNI. He told me the other day.

Which 593.5nm do you own? They might use a different crystal set in the bigger PGL-III-C hosts than in the GLP pens.

With the 593.5nms I had it´s the other way round; they like the warm environment!

Sold my 75mW Fusion and 150mW in the last weeks. IMO most Wickedlasers host are nice to look at, except the current Spyder/Arctic-series :)
