    LUMIA- one thread for all-

Just an update since my last post, I received the 1/3RPH last week and found it to be way too slow. 80% of the time nothing appears to be happening, it's boring and the speed seems comparable to how slow the planet rotates :p So I did some more looking around & found a 4 RPH motor, ordered it...

    LUMIA- one thread for all-

Awesome!! I just ordered a 3 HR motor & I'm guessing it's going to be ungodly slow but that is what I'm looking for. I will definitely shoot a video of it crawling in action after I receive it & set it up. THANK YOU very much for sharing this link & info, I've only briefly googled slower...

Yes the angle is doing that, you can direct where your light will hit your canvas/walls as well as how large it is. Right now the lasers are about 20' away from the wall in that room & in the 3rd pic the greenie is hitting the side of the bulb which flattens & spreads out the pattern. The room...

Here's my setup so far. I'm using a reke RB projector and a separate 532 module which is sitting on top of the projector until I get a replacement module. Also I'm just using one of Hak's lightbulbs for distortion.... :) just the green.... and here's a video AcmthVMd-QA I'm going to...

    LUMIA- one thread for all-

Yes that's the motor I have. I just checked the bottom & noticed the 120V 1/3 RPM markings, clearly I missed that print when I received this :spank: What I did see though was that it was made in Crystal Lake, IL which is 5 mins from where I live. I googled the info to learn more about these...

Hak this lumina kit is extremely addicting, thank you for sending it out!! I can't believe how much time I've spent staring at the wall lately though! I'm using RGB enjoying hours of endless psychedelic eyecandy, this is just sick man! After reading down only the first page of this...

    Revisiting LPF

Asherz! Welcome back, I also loved your old avatar (nothing against the new one) & wondered where you went off to several months ago :p I'm in my own form of hiatus lately & hope to make a return like yours sometime soon, until then it's good to see your name again!

Looks like the FDA is finally fed up with handheld lasers...

Thankfully GTA5 is coming out soon, that should give these idiots something better to do for awhile on a console rather than in real life

Laser for reef tank pest anemone removal.

Well if you can manage $150 I'd check the B/S/T section of this forum for some reputable sellers with good history & rep and ask about having something custom made to suit your need. You're way better off than trying one of the dozens of online websites that offers lasers. This is just my...

A few questions about Violet Lasers

    1) Sure you could reroute the + and - leads from the power source, but why not just use the spring? If you dont need it just solder it off & reconnect your + input to the + on the board. 2)This module is made for a pen laser using 2 AAA or AA alkalines so the circuit is made to handle 3V...

Laser for reef tank pest anemone removal.

If you search aiptasia in the google bar after clicking LPF search you will find several threads and stories of others who have questioned & resolved the same issue you're having. A lot of information can be found by doing this, but I can tell you $50 isn't going to get you a good enough laser...

    Ask a Vet, Scam Check

+rep for you Isaac for this offer, this scam check is a great idea to help curb scamming on the forum :) If I could throw in an extra suggestion to consider, when I used to sell lasers I would require a scanned ID from interested buyers that had to show an address matching (or something...

    Planes overhead

Definitely not when they're flying by, you'll still bring attention to your residence. In the US laser sightings are almost always reported as a 'laser incident' by aircraft, even when it's not aimed anywhere near an airplane or if it's from an outdoor concert. The FAA evaluates all of this...

Pilot, co-pilot killed in fiery UPS cargo plane crash at Alabama airport

...well before it comes up media, lets be clear that shining lasers at airplanes had nothing to do with this. My condolences to those who know the deceased from this accident & those who will be affected by a delivery/shipment mishap :/
