There's no room for "well duhs" when it comes to lasers. :tsk:

~ Laser accessories you should own ~

And I suggest that pointing lasers at reflective surfaces is not a good idea, unless done in a controlled environment with proper safety precautions, like safety goggles, etc...

    Cool Knife.

Hey, I'll take 'em both! Nothing like the feeling of carbon fiber grips... Yes, a lot of collectors do their shopping at Knifeworks! Their prices are great - unfortunately, international shipping & Customs fees kill that buzz real quick. That's why I buy "locally" (when visiting the...

    Cool Knife.

FWIW, I heard of people finding them for ~$250. But regardless, you're right; mine's a so-called safe queen. I "use" the standard Griptilian as well as the stonewashed Doug Ritter Griptillian (also pictured above).

Wow, that is light... ! The closest I come to that is with my BM Osborne 943 (pictured above along with my OTF) and it weighs in at 2.9oz. Yes it is, and one of my favorites, at that! It's the "gold" edition of the Benchmade Griptilian, with carbon fiber scales and M4 steel. Here's my review...

    Cool Knife.

Boy, that's a great-looking knife, congrats! Is that Al scales / grips? That's an excellent collection of BMs you got there  The Rift especially caught my eye as I just nabbed this limited edition: But I'm 100% with you on assisted knives - I hate 'em. They're more dangerous to the...

3 winner of the poll: Dave, jayrob, lasersbee.

Re: One vote, one gift: vote for the hero of LPF in your mind This is definitely a [partial] list of great LPF contributors ... . But anyways, the Professor (that would be Mr. Daguin to you) and Jay get my votes as they are the only two members on your list that I've actually done transactions...

    Cool Knife.

The U.S. is a big place. In Florida you can own just about anything where as in Cali it has to be a two-hand opener or a <2" auto, I believe. In other words, depending on the State you live in, YMMV. I got this beauty in Miami... :D

    Cool Knife.

I love Benchmade  and I find that the material & build quality are top-notch, but no matter, I'm not a shareholder and don't need to push them on anyone. I would however like to note that they have quite a diverse collection, when viewed over the years. That means they may have a knife to...

    Cool Knife.

I've heard that Knifeworks is very popular among those in the know. Knifeart is also up there. BladeHQ has a large selection (don't know about their customer service though). Since you seem to be wary of Benchmade then consider CRKT in that price range...

    Cool Knife.

That's old news (see 1st page of this thread) / I don't agree with Roadside (having spoke to a professional on the topic) and I would definitely not buy anything from an online seller that spends more time trying to defame a company than to sell knives...

    More Purple Than Blue

The color heavily relies on one's perception of, particularly in the near-ultra-violet ranges (as nicely described by our local Professor). In terms of photographing the beam / dot / bar, the camera's sensor has it's own form of perception. Most sensors try to emulate the human eye by...
