    o-like 180mw-200mw red laser

Hell yeah! I just got my second one today (from O-like) and I installed a new lens from Larry (highly recomended for 10.00) and I love my red laser. It should be over 200mW with Larry's lens. Here is a link to Larry's post...

    safety question

Hello, I have a 50mW laser and though it is pretty bright, it is not overwhelmingly bright. If you point it at a white wall you can look at the spot, just don't stare at it for too long. You will not need safety glases for poiting it into the sky, the beam will be visible but it will not be...

    Lithium Batteries are Awesome!

Yeah, here is what Jack had to say about it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "The energizer lithiums will work fine as long they say on the package that they are rated at 1.6v or less each. The 3v litihum cells are what you do not want to...

Heads up, Laserex LDP-300 for sale on Ebay

I would be more interested in the LDP-300 UB which has a 635nm diode. I used to have one and it was a great laser, especially for presentation work.

    Lithium Batteries are Awesome!

Hey, Yeah those are the ones. However the power output of these batteries right out of the package is usually 1.8v and I have seen one at 1.9v! WOW! Some lasers can't handle that much power so make sure if you get them, put them in another device for about 30-40 seconds to bring the voltage down...

    should opto 100mw sting

It definately should sting. I have the +150 and it stings almost instantly. Question, is your laser hot from your hand? I ask because the nature of these lasers is that they work better when it is cold/cool approx. 68º~78º. Try it cooler I have noticed mine loosing power when it is really warm...

    Junk

Sorry about that misfortune of yours. All I can say is that I bought a +150mW green laser that is putting out 165~170mW and I bought two of them from Optotronics and they are great. They power up immeaditely and are very stable. However they perform best when they are cool, approx 78º or lower...

FS: Hi-Power AR Lens Assy- 25-30% Inc. vs. Aixiz

Hi Larry, unfortunately I did not receive the lens yesterday before leaving town. I will get it next Friday or Saturday. So tell me what was sent, was it just a lens only or the little brass threadded tube that holds the lens. I will need the brass threadded insert for the focusing cap, let me...

Any red lasers more than 250mw nowadays?

Are you interested in buying red lab laser? Those get way up there in the mW's and you can get them in the 635nm wavelength as well, which is a much brighter red-orange color. http://www.optotronics.com/635nm-red-laser-systems.php 671nm red laser system up to 2W...

Best greenie I could buy for $1400-1500?

Go to Optotronics.com and look at the RPL 425! It is $1400.00.....Way less than Laser Glow and Better. Laser glow has a duty cycle on their lasers, The new style Optotronics RPL does not. The laser diodes are made in the USA and have better heat sinks. Beam divergence is 0.8~1.0mrad....best in...

Glass lens for the "New style " Red 200mW?

Really? Well I gently cleaned the back side of the lens with a Q-tip and it left a circular ring pattern on it. Maybe it was in the coatings but is slightly scatters the laser light around the spot. When the laser spot is difocused to a large spot, the ring is visible. I did not use much...

Glass lens for the "New style " Red 200mW?

Oh ok I see what that is now. My red does not have anything that looks like that. I just have thw top cap that unscrews from the laser head and the lens assembly is threadded in the center of the top piece. The lens housinf is black and is about 1/4 inch long with threads all the way down its...

200mW Dilda - 3.6v Rechargeable batteries and charger?

I have the new style one also and i have a second one on the way. It is a really cool laser indeed. As for the 3.6v batteries if you google them there are several sites that seel them including Ebay. 3.6v batteries may not hurt the laser diode but they most likely will lessen the life of it. I...

Glass lens for the "New style " Red 200mW?

Hi Larry, i have not taken the lens out yet and I am not sure what you mean by Aixiz module. The lens is in a small black housing that can be unscrewed from the top piece of the laser head. i can get you some photos if that will help you to see what I have. The current lens must have a 3mm FL...

Glass lens for the "New style " Red 200mW?

I have the new style red 200mW dilda as many of you know. But I think the lens in this new style is acrylic and I do not know the focal length. If I knew I may be able to buy one from Edmund Scientific and install it my self. I have seen the lens for the old style laser but I was wondering if a...

Which of you have adjusted the potintiometer on the Dilda?

I noticed that the laser comes completely apart and so many of you have posted the use of 3.6v batteries to get more power. But what of the potintiometer? Does it help or will it kill the laser by lowering the life of the diode? I ask because I am afraid to touch it and introduce more current to...

    shipping on the 200mw dildo

Well I tested the rechargeables that came with the laser and they are at 3.3 volts and the Energizer Cr2 batteries I have are 3.2v. This is just an FYI and I will try to locate some 3.6v batts. However 3.3v is not bad either. I'll let you know what I find. Thanks for your input. -Todd

    shipping on the 200mw dildo

Woe it looks as if you got yourself a case of those batteries. I read and have read many posts of using the 3.6v batteries in the Dilda but it seems like that would hurt the laser but you all say it will not. the laser spot on my "new style" Dilda has a bright line passing through it. It looks...

    200mw Dilda?

Yes you need smoke or some sort of atmosphere in the room. The beam comes out wide and it is hard to see that way. Right now my apartment has really clean air and the beam of mine is not visible. With a small amount of smoke from a candle it will begin to show up. Mine is at least 195mW and it...
