Yeah, the regulator is the black thing. It sits a bit higher than the resistors. You can thermal epoxy both the regulator and the resistors to your heatsink.

Yes, they can be paralleled, no problem. You'll need to heatsink them at 700mA though. Hrmmm... probably not on these, but definitely higher powered versions coming. ;)

Yes, you can parallel them. :) Like Blord said, you also could replace the resistors if you've already got the 300mA drivers and don't want to parallel them. If you don't have any resistors on hand and can handle a soldering iron, shoot me a PM. I'll just throw a resistor in an envelope and...

I hate bugs. One of the things that I love about Southern California is that the bugs are all fairly small (sans scorpions and tarantulas which you never really see outside of the desert) and there are virtualy no mosquitos. I did a year in Okinawa while I was in the Marines and holy crap...

Hey, that kit looks familiar... :thinking: :D 1) So yeah, you're going to need a couple of li-ions to power it or a wallwart. Anything over 5.5V, just don't use a 9V battery. 2) It will work with pretty much any host that can hold two batteries. I've got one in a C6 host and it works awesome...
