Honnesty, i don't think that a tec will be a good compromise between cooling and efficiency. The tec need to be well heatsinked to cold the diode. Plus it will eat large amount of current, which will increase the teperature of the Cell and the host. Im sure that a Cmount in a good heatsink...

i set my phr at 150 mA last year and still lasing. The key is the heatsinking. I also set one phr at 200mA open can, and still lasing since 1 month For a good longevity i would go to 140/150 mA no more with a jayrob lens

you can remove the driver and make your own, and slighty increase the current to the pump. If you go more higher than the current delivered by the driver, you have risk to blow your diode. But the ouput will be better. I fried many of my greenie with bad manipulation, so try at your own risk ! =)
