Nice! Always nice to see a good healthy Ar+ doing its 8 lines :) Though I think your mirrors may be out of alignment, given the ghosting you have. Or a wedged mirror. If it is alignment ... I am baffled that you are getting 8 lines while still misaligned. Running hot for sure.

Oh how I love orange :) Bravo on getting your own! They're spectacular tubes. Rare as hen's teeth, but totally worth the hassle!

Any wavelength testing done on one of these? I'd love to see how the wavelength changes over the span of threshold to max current, and 0-40C. Not to assume how low/high these go. Just to plot out a percentage of change over a given temperature change. I expect it to be similar to other...
