    CNI releases 577 DPSS laser!

Max output CNI is selling is 100mW.... Though copper vapor lasers used to be the go-to for laser projectors with a lot of green and yellow. Before laserscopes and mobolazers came around.

    CNI releases 577 DPSS laser!

Sure, every component of the power supply straight from ebay, easy peasy (slight sarcasm). Then there's the tube crafting, getting the proper temperature, pure Neon, decent Cu/CuBr/CuCl, and getting all of it to behave together. Sure, the alignment isn't a problem, and I've already got a...

    CNI releases 577 DPSS laser!

Assembly would't be difficult, no, but acquiring everything for assy would be a royal pain more than everything. Sourcing all the materials would also be costly. Whereas w/ a DIY DPSS, it's only a matter of sourcing a KTP with the correct coatings, and a pair of mirrors. Expensive, yes, but...

    CNI releases 577 DPSS laser!

Hey, if you're interested, you could always build a Copper Bromide laser, gets you 578nm. Far easier said than done...

    Holy @#$%... $100 488nm diode!!

Minimum order quantity (MOQ) is 10 pieces, so a $750 biting of the bullet if we let someone else do it. No sense in getting multiple parties involved. This is exactly why I didn't want people contacting the companies that make these diodes, that could end poorly if these are actually...

The Golden Company: LPF's Compendium of the Rare Yellows, from Chartreuse to Amber.

    Guess I'll briefly add myself to this list. 568nm - Krypton line from a Melles Griot 643 mixed gas unit. 589nm - CNI PGL-III-C 80mW (121mW peak). 593.5nm - Rigel 5mW. 594.1nm - Melles Griot LYR-173 4.2mW (also with a hair of 604nm for good measure).

Re: Holy @#$%... $120 488nm diode!! Not from RPMC, I was just on their website. Though I am interested in which diode you speak of.

    Holy @#$%... $100 488nm diode!!

Re: Holy @#$%... $120 488nm diode!! 150mW 622nm diodes exist, but they operate at 5°C. You can cryo-cool a 637nm diode and get 607nm out of it, once you get into the -150° range.

    Holy @#$%... $100 488nm diode!!

Re: Holy @#$%... $120 488nm diode!! Pasketti is an old laser projector software. It's creater, Dr. Lava, also the creator of the flexdrive, had a large falling out with some forum members. Might have been some leaking or conspiring involved; the full details haven't really been released in...

Have you exposed the LBO at all to the atmosphere? If you haven't, continue not doing it. Oh, and I'll be buying this.

Re: Holy @#$%... $120 488nm diode!! Most people just add numbers and stuff. N 1 C H 1 A N1C H1A NICHolAs I'm sure there are ways to go about it that don't look nearly as bad as N*****. Please, do not use N****a. That's even worse.

    Holy @#$%... $100 488nm diode!!

Re: Holy @#$%... $120 488nm diode!! I would be hesitant about that. We haven't always gotten our diodes via the most legitimate way. There are a handful of cease and desist letters out there for that very reason. It is completely possible that these diodes have appeared via a leak, or...

WTB> Nd:YAG, LBO, BBO, or other DPSS

I will take you up on this. Maybe tomorrow or something. Cavity setup is just a matter of simple math once I know the RoC's involved. Nd:XYZ centered on the focal point, get 1064nm, and KTP placement shortly after, then minor adjustment from there. Not sure if my KTPs are reflective or...

    Yellow Laser **WANTED**

A red heavy is closer to a burnt orange, more green and you get closer to 600nm. The most accurate yellow you can get is probably around 594nm, but maybe with the 520 diodes, that can change and you'll be able to get more of a golden 585ish. There were some beautiful yellows being made by...

Seeking highest power output 780-850nm pulse laser diode available

Can't tell in that video whether it's functioning as you think it is. If you think about it this way. The cycle of the shutter versus the cycle of the pulsing. If the pulsing speed is of a rep rate that it's up time is longer than the down time of the camera's shutter, then you're more or...

If I can get graphs of them, I wouldn't mind them. Put a pretty penny into a matching pair, and that's all I need for almost anything above SHG@1064. Better than Newport prices, and Edmund only has them in the standard 266, 355, 532, 808, 1064nm coatings. Nothing even minimally out the...

    Yellow Laser **WANTED**

I've heard good things about Dragon Lasers. It's a shame we don't do group buys through CNI anymore. They produce very high quality, typically overspec 589nm. The standard was buying their PGL-III 80mW. It typically did over 100mW.
