They're on the bay, I can help you out if you want :) You'll see my new 200mW 473's at SELEM :) (whether they DO 200mW has yet to be assessed).

    Request for EXOTIC DPSS Equipment

Well vanadate-wise, I can use any Nd:YAG, and hopefully the mirror can compensate and gain the lines that matter. Like a HeNe.

    Request for EXOTIC DPSS Equipment

A while back there was a seller with a ton of random 3x3x5mm KTPs for $25 a piece. I bought one for 532, 561, and 594. Just need mirrors for them.

    Request for EXOTIC DPSS Equipment

UPDATE: I found an interesting site. It might be a decent source later on. Yeah, $150-200 for a 1064/532 mirror is a bit high, but the same price for an 1179/589nm or 1112/556nm, or even an HR@980-1110nm? I can dig it. http://layertec.de/en/shop/articles

I have tried the water with milk

I assume he is trying to see the beam of a laser, by making a translucent mixture of milk and water, and shining the laser into it. Like liquid fog I would imagine. However, do to losses in the liquid, the beam only makes it 10cm into the water before not being visible anymore.

Tastier alternative to drinking water + milk.

Might be a fun tube to use some optics on. I can get upwards of 11 lines using an Ar HR. Gets me another blue, and 3 greens. Yesterday using a yellow -> green HeNe mirror, I managed to get 676 and a deeper blue than I was already getting.

    Request for EXOTIC DPSS Equipment

I've looked into that, but I have 589nm already. Looking to expand a bit. As far as price, I don't know if I have the money or not. No idea how much this will cost. I know some mirrors and diodes can be well over a grand, but some might be able to get a better price. Tantalizing, but I...

    Request for EXOTIC DPSS Equipment

Parts for 473 and 532 are easy to come by. I have a KTP for 561 and one for 593. The hardest part is finding specialty mirrors for them. Coatings make up a bulk of the challenge.

    Request for EXOTIC DPSS Equipment

I'd like to do a formal request for some exotic, "un-GBed" items. For someone more in the know, or with better connections than I. DPSS/solid state equipment. -Mounts -SS Fiber -SS Waveguides -Exotic Crystals* -Exotic stabilized Pumps* -Exotic coatings* -Exotic mirrors* * - Exotic...

Nice IR line ;) You also have the 676 line, which I do not have :/ Though I have 3 other blues :) However, chances are you do too, and that wasn't full power. Mine at 9.6A does 5 blue, 568, and 647. I am going to go fire it up now since it's been a good minute :) If I wasn't flying, I...

I'll snag two of these from the gracious individual that purchases the lot.

Awaiting shipment!: ROUND 5!: THE "Skylaser" (laserBtB) groupbuy!

Re: OPEN: ROUND 5!: THE "Skylaser" (laserBtB) groupbuy! Is it possible to get in on the 5mW 515nm pen? If not, I'll take a 30mW HL515. Even more unlikely, can I pay extra to get one cherry picked on their spectromenter for <510nm? Lastly, I'd like an HL445 1W :)

If you have any cool wavelengths for sale (blues, cyans, yellows) let me know. I am interested in a 488 :) I am looking at Junktronic's 35mW 488 JDSU. I am also VERY interested in DPSS crystals and mirrors. I am going balls deep into DPSS, and I am trying to get my hands on anything I can.

    Ring Cavity Direct Doubling?

On the bright side, they make mirrors that are HT@808nm @45°, then HR @808nm @90°. So for green it'd be great. Though this is the only wavelength that they make such specialty optics for. I've calculated for both 99.9% HR and HT. Both give the same intracavity power. So linewidth is still...

    Ring Cavity Direct Doubling?

I'll keep this brief as I don't have power so on my phone. Been thinking of direct doubling recently. Aside from diode linewidth, what is stopping us from using a ring cavity to direct double? I.E. Sending the pump source through a partly transmissive OC not at 90° (about 80°) and then that...
