Introducing two new miniature drivers for portable lasers

Re: Introducing two new miniature drivers for portable lasers + Kenom Fundraiser! Hi, no there are no bridges set at stock. The photo I used was of a driver where I had already bridged that range as an example. Good eye!

Introducing two new miniature drivers for portable lasers

Re: Introducing two new miniature drivers for portable lasers + Kenom Fundraiser! Right now I don't have a cart system so it's 2 orders and when they are made near the same time I remove the shipping from one so the cost is as if one order were made.

Introducing two new miniature drivers for portable lasers

Re: Introducing two new miniature drivers for portable lasers + Kenom Fundraiser! Thanks:) Yes that is exactly right, I meant to mention it but forgot. It's a great idea and does help prevent the chipping that can happen under stress. When you sent the one back with epoxy on the coil I...

Introducing two new miniature drivers for portable lasers

Re: Introducing two new miniature drivers for portable lasers + Kenom Fundraiser! For the MicroBoost, having the same size as the V5 was a requirement, as most keychain builds need a driver that small. And it would be a shame not to be able to build the most powerful blu-rays into the smallest...

Introducing two new miniature drivers for portable lasers

Hi guys, there are two new portable laser drivers on the block to accompany the Micro FlexDrive. They are called the Micro Boost Drive (same size as the FlexDrive) and the Groove 2 (a little larger). They both can fit into an Aixiz module. The Micro Boost drive is a boost-only version of...

Hello, the site is not hacylon.com but if you google FlexDrive you should be able to find it. I got the order, it was shipped, paypal should have sent you the tracking number (google checkout does) and tracking shows delivery on the 24th.

For a repair, yes just pack it with at least 2 layers of bubble wrap and send it back with a note describing what happened. Paypal is accepted, PM for details. You can enter more than one preset currents in the order box if needed, but for 2 preset and 1 not, 2 orders are needed and I will...

Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits pens

Hi, Typically, rechargeable 3.6V batteries have 4.2V max charge voltage. I'd suggest either using 2 normal AA batteries, or one rechargeable li-ion battery and a spacer for best efficiency and run-time.

    V5 Flexdrive cutoff voltage

Hi mfo, the reverse polarity protection on the FlexDrive is highly efficient - it presents almost no additional voltage drop to the driver. If you are using an unprotected cell, yes your series diode solution should perform as expected.

Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits pens

More drivers have come in, so no problem with supply To measure the current output (mA or A) you can use a multimeter in series with the load, please see the user manual linked from the sale page in the first post.

    music driven laser

What you've drawn up isn't really a basic FlexMod, a FlexMod can be thought of as an adjustable voltage to current converter, that rendering is a current amplifier. A FlexMod would work to do what you want, but to roll your own, try using a darlington transistor (TIP131 or similar) and a higher...

420mW 658nm Lab Module for Shows

In case the pictures don't make it clear, what this is.. is 2 diodes being combined to make one beam. each diode is running at about 215 mW for long life in laser show use. If you cranked this up like you do laser pointers and added a TEC you'd be running close to 600mW out!

Re: 12x Murder Fund! (Complete!) it's creepy how that dot looks like a smiling buddha face. Igor must have recorded the Voltage levels to generate the efficiency graph, so the data is around.
