bump. He is back as L@z3r, and it was really easy to figure it out.

    Dr Lava flex-drives

They do...but they don't sell the resistors. Get the variety pack (which has 1N4001, 1N4002, and 1N4004). AFAIK the diodes in the package should be interchangeable for your purposes. w00t 200th post!

    Flashlight Section

The only thing I would ever look for in the flashlight section is hosts for my lasers. I say let CPF have their flashlights, LPF their lasers. Wasn't this site founded on a split from CPF anyways?

That's been commited to memory. They must have been high.

How-2 make Cracked Uranium marbles from noncracked

Re: How-2 make Cracked Uranium marbles from noncra Uranium oxide. It's like 3% or 0.3%. It's about twice the background radiation of the world. In other words, you could have these things sitting against your skin (e.g. a necklace) for a prolonged period of time, and you wouldn't really get...

50mW CR2 Green Handheld from BudgetGadgets

Question:  I own the KD50 (and so does my brother).  Is it filtered and/or does the IR stay with the beam? lol...the KD50 has a switch in the circuit board...and it's then got a jumper shorting it out.

What size of drill to use for press fitting aixiz?

Re: What size of drill to use for press fitting ai Daguin is making a valid point. What motivation should anyone have for sharing that information with you?

    Wesdaman14

It is Wesley Vinson, aka Wesdaman14.  And regardless of how pissed I am at Jake over the module issue, the behavior of L@z3r definitely shows such here and here.  He even hints that he could be here and here. In his profile, he's a 16-year-old from GA. Short of the age (which I don't believe)...

    Feeler Extremely efficient boost circuits

I've tested the driver and have decided that they're not for sale yet.  The boards are boosting, but they need some stabilization before I'm comfortable with selling them.  Hopefully it doesn't require a redesign of the board (crosses fingers). These boards can deliver at least 100 mA to a PHR...

:) has this been done before?

Not a good idea.  You'll have to change the focus for each beam, and if those diodes are from a Sony PS3, the LDs inside are not very powerful.

    Feeler Extremely efficient boost circuits

Tentatively? $25 per driver to the Continental U.S., $3 extra per order to anywhere else to cover PayPal fees and shipping. I will most likely be limiting these to orders of 5 per person per week since I am a graduate student and have a limited amount of time to hand make these. The plan is...

    BUYERS BEWARE!

I knew that when he said it the first time.  The focusing ring was also glued to the lens part. I have a bag of Aixiz modules (see that I Jake? It's spelled AIXIZ), and none of them are remotely like that module.  Needless to say, I didn't even bother testing it before mailing it back.

    BUYERS BEWARE!

Note the date. He supposedly shipped out the replacement today. But probably only because I'm ruining his business by posting what has happened to me.

    Feeler Extremely efficient boost circuits

Pics: What you should know about it: -VERY small - only 8mm x 10mm (x ~5mm) -Is case ground (e.g. works for red and blu-ray) -Is current regulated -Up to 5.5 V output (needs testing) -As low as 0.9 V input (needs testing) -Range: 40mA to 200 mA (needs testing).  Will likely make a 500mA one...

    NEW PHR-803t/lpc-815

Re: NEW PHR-803T 10.50/LPC-815 10.70 GBW-H10N 40.0 I've reminded you SEVERAL times. And why on earth should it be my job to remind you? You've even said before that it's in the mail I just sent my address to you for the third time...I sent you my address on Dec. 3rd and Dec. 7th...and I do...

    Feeler Extremely efficient boost circuits

Whoa...I was about to bump this myself and then I saw your post. Yes, I have the components and boards for a couple of test kits in hand right now, and rkcstr and IgorT also have a couple of kits to help me with testing these. It took close to forever (six weeks) for me to get the circuit...

    NEW PHR-803t/lpc-815

Re: NEW PHR-803T 10.50/LPC-815 10.70 GBW-H10N 40.0 So what's the problem with sending me my replacement diode??? It's been nearly two **** months!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or do you even remember mailing me this diode in a "new" module:

20 Rare Earth Magnets for $1 (dead, now $4)

Re: 20 Rare Earth Magnets for $1-great for LED thr The ones inside a hard drive are neodymium/rare earth magnets.  In fact, sleds have two neodymium magnets (~2x5x10 mm) in them to help with alignment, which to me is the added bonus of getting whole sleds and not just the diodes.

Can anyone identify this Green Laser Pointer?

The design looks aight, but for $40, you can find 2-3 green laser pointers of the same power if you look around. The button kind of looks like a Leadlight.
