IIRC those bbq ignitors from Lowes/HomeDepot cost about ~$9. A cheap stun gun cost under $20. They are easy to modify with pliers, solder (or use the crimp style connectors), wire and a little bit of heat shrink tubing. I wired in a 6v 80mm brush less fan to help mix air/fuel, and to clear the...
I've built this one, but I used an old stun gun and a triple stage ignition setup...
I have never shot incendiary devices from mine. It must be cool to live in Norway.
I was wrong about Royal Air Mail being slow. I received my package today, in California.
Everything looks good so far :) I'm gonna put the red diode in later tonight and will report back.
I should have known better with my last transaction using Royal Air. I bought off a newbie that ended up...
Very nice.
Reminds me of that movie with the baseball bat, carved from the tree that was struck by lightening.
All of my good toys are now in Washington. Damn California gun laws! I will post some pics of a few I have at home in a little bit.
You mean 3, right? Also, DX sells a package of 50(IIRC) button cells for a few dollars, for those who don't wanna bother with the rechargeable battery option.
On hiatus:undecided:
I was a window contractor for a couple of years (On a friends license), a plumber before that. My favorite occupation was when I owned a Bobcat. I loved tearing down houses.
Lately I've been carrying this flashlight from DX DealExtreme: $22.26 Ultrafire WF-503C Cree R2-WC 5-Mode 250-Lumen LED Flashlight with Assault Crown (1*18650). My friends call it the face corer. EDC is my Cold Steel Voyager X2. I almost got arrested by a cop who said it was a gravity knife...
Maybe so. If anybody here would have posted a video like that I'm sure there would be plenty of safety bashing comments though...if for no other reason than "kids watch that shit, and aren't experts, and could damage their eyes if they tried it..."
To each his own. I wish my little helicopter...
A friend of mine told me he heard on the radio this morning that EBM lives in Oakland and that "they" are trying to set up a rematch between the two for an MMA event. I'm sure it's bogus, but I didn't realize just how popular this has become.
I took my DX uv light to a hotel with me once. I was able to see some stains on the sheets, just barely though.
Is a chemical required for the lower wavelength uv lights? (like ~380nm or below) I've seen a few for sale that are under $120 but have been reluctant to buy one yet.
Spent all afternoon machining a RPL style host and snapped the damn threads off the battery tube because I made that section to thin :yabbmad:. It was looking so bad ass too :(
Just wanted to let others know... I have received two emails from Jon. One was to let me know he included a diode with my kits because I forgot to mention it in my order, and the other was for a partial refund for the shipping (I didn't even notice that when I ordered).
Jon, :gj::thanks...
I read through the comments and realized two things.... Pinky has a marine tattoo, and the first thing the other guy did was steal the old man's bag.
Once a marine, always a marine. LOL
