Those would make some killer pepper spray :eg: I believe the hottest spray on the market is at 5 million SHU. I've never had anything hotter than those little red Thai chilis... nor do I want to.

I have to admit the gun laser looks cool.... but I can't help but cringe and have bad images pop into my head. It looks too real is all I'm saying.

Nice. Remember to keep your duty cycles short. You're going to need a heatsink for your aixiz module too.

^^^ I did the 3 D cell P7 maglite mod with an aspherical lens (Melles Griot), and it throws beautifully. The only problem was the price...Over $200 w/o batteries, ouch! I would love to see what this new emitter can do with a similar setup. I finally got a couple of the Kaidomain aspherical...

It sure would be nice if laser-style hosts were readily available. I have a hard time gutting a flashlight to use as a laser host, and not keeping it to use as a flashlight. I usually end up buying two at a time. RPG style hosts, or similar, would be awesome.

I got my 7" x 12" lathe as a present. Pretty sure it was off of ebay, but not positive. I will find out though because a lot of extras were included (drill chuck, live center, bits, gears, steady rests, etc.) and I was told the total with shipping was under $450, not positive though....girls...

I gave up on this a long time ago. I was going to try again with another order, but decided against it. I will be leaving the hobby for a little while due to a career change, so I want to share the source now. I have ordered a lot of cool products from this site in the past. They are cheaper...

The lens can go in at any angle, but I was told to install the filter at a slight angle if at all possible. Is it a pen style pointer? If so, I read on here people using a flip-top style toothpaste cap over the pen. It would hold the IR filter in place, and act as a dust protector when closed...

Cool video. I have made a few cannons of various sizes using sprinkler valves, not piston valves. They are still impressive though. All of them can accept barrels of different sizes (e.g. from tennis ball/ snow ball size, down to dart size). I prefer making them with breach style barrels...

^^ I'm not surprised. When I went into the HF store they were out-of-stock as well. The clerk told me they had sold out the first day of the sale and weren't expecting any more to arrive. I hate going there, it reminds me of the jungle (walmart). They did have a mini lathe....for $399.
