    Can't find any reviews...opinions?

The member is known here. He sell holographic labels. Description: "Please note these glasses are not approved for use on any specific wavelengths or classes of lasers. They should not replace a proper OD rated pair of glasses." The price being $9, and the description like this, I doubt that...

Hey guys! Help with 473 purchase.

No handhelds? I'd get a CNI 473 :D edit: Maybe a lasever module...

    Under car lighting

It says "DC 12V" on the title. You can make something more custom if you want it. Rhodamine + Violet led or highlighter fluid + violet led... :yh:

A few questions about Violet Lasers

    1) The spring is the Negative, the module itself is the positive. So if you assembly that in a conductive host (such as a flashlight), the cell positive touches the flashlight tail, giving +Vcc to the module. The cell positive touches the spring, giving it -Vcc and powering it on ;) 2) It seems...

    I bought a new laser

MercadoLivre is worst than any ebay. Its unregulated when laser related. Sellers lie all around about lasers power (5W greenies cost $30). I trust alibaba better. Alessnilsen, pm incoming.

Found a Cube Inside Sony AD-7203S!

I'd be really embarrassed if I asked for something I didn't use. In a few days a machinist here will tell me if he will or won't do custom builds for me. If he does, I'll use your cubes... I pay the shipping. :)

Found a Cube Inside Sony AD-7203S!

Its not a matter of "who needs". Who needs lasers anyways? :D Its challenge to use a 3x3mm cube. I'll use one on a handheld some day :eg:

Found a Cube Inside Sony AD-7203S!

Then you should export them :D They cost $25 at the bay, and thats the lowest price I know of.

Found a Cube Inside Sony AD-7203S!

I've only found a PBS this year. On almost 4 years destroying dvd burners, I didn't got any cubes. For combining two beams into one (IR and RED) seems like the companies use more dichros than cubes. Nonetheless its a great find... Perfect for dual diode red build (if you have beams small as...

Yes, laserbtb are some of top quality lasers. There will be Group buys going on soon here in LPF. Maybe you can get more power for less $$$$$

how much is this yag laser worth.

It says 473nm (teal) and 532nm (green) in the safety sticker... Maybe its a generic sticker?

    informations

The green laser is a lot more complex to build; it uses a solid state pumping for generating green light - a highly inefficient process. Blue lasers have been made common by the DLP projectors manufacturers; a projector have more than a single diode... Some time ago most had 24 diodes inside...

CNC laser engraver - its almost time

Re: CNC laser engraver - project approved Thanks. Unfortunately, we need to use the PIC, because its on my course load... IIRC Its the PIC16F877A. By the way what were the power of your laser, and speed of engraving?? Did you had any problems with the wavelength being 808nm?? :) I'll have...

CNC laser engraver - its almost time

Re: CNC laser engraver - project approved I don't got anything yet... I'm planning the whole thing already. We'll learn pic and programming @ the last semester (soon 2013 ~ half 2013). I'm sorting things out yet but I can't figure out where to learn about steppers. Lets say I'd use a 9mm 445...

    Charging Li-Pos permanently in device

It is parallel. But internal resistances from batteries vary, so you need to charge one at a time, or use a balancer. Each battery should receive 4.2V and everything will be ok

    Scratch-built Unique Host

Using the switch to trigger a transistor/FET would lower the current flowing thru it to very low values. :) Great host... you're really a wizard! +1 for you.

CNC laser engraver - its almost time

Re: CNC laser engraver - project approved Today, my project abstract was cited on a post-graduate meeting, in my college. I were so excited! Everyone looking at me... :eg: I talked to the teachers (most post-doctoral at... telecom, image processing, dunno the official names in english...

my driver isnt giving the right current?

Measure it bro (use a dmm / multimeter). Don't risk blowing up your usb/driver/computer psu ()
