OMG!! terrible news= PLEASE read this and do whatever you can..

@nko29 Hey, thanks for that. Yeah, what hurts more is seeing my mom losing her things... Damage seems to be intentional because vegetation was cut around the rupture, and the levy/dam is made of clay/loam/argil, so digging a small hole for it to drain slowly opened a 19ft hole on it. What sucks...

LPM List Problems (looking for an LPM)

Just in case you're interested... Some lenses and/or a neutral density filter should give you a % of power reduction, so you can measure your 3 watter with your 2W LPM ;) Blord has done it somehow, here...

    520 pen build help

Way 1: Electronics (my preferred) Some kind of "low" mode and "high" mode? A proper PWM designed circuit, would give you the proper results. Blinking at a fast enough rate it won't be noticeable (well, kinda of) OR Maybe a build with a small switch (small like a dip) so you can change the...

    Laser usage safety

laser "usage" is a vague term. If "usage" applies to shining a laser around your house - that can have reflective surfaces, mirrors, other people, pets, its a disaster waiting for happening ;) Same for shining a laser on the sky - where we have airplanes. If "usage" applies to a well planned...

    Product Development

Bad idea. If its visible on sunlight, we assume you want a high power laser. Have people forgotten that >500mW (ol' Class IV) pose a fire hazard? What a 3W 445 would do to a house curtains or table cloths ? By the way that thread recalled me that..:

    Choosing a violet laser

@OP I really like your idea! :yh: Bigger, rectangular mirrors could make a "laser lightshow frame"... Maybe painting some flurescein (+ some transparent resin or paint) inside the glass would make a things a lot cooler? Ideas...

    Under car lighting

You can lower the current draw using a resistor right? A big, power resistor can halve the power drain (and brightness ;)).

Studies about animals react on lasers

@btc5 You sir, deserve a prize! You got neg rep from 06-24-2012, probably older, and, more than a year after that, You necropost on a more than 2 year old thread. That proves you probably didn't read the rules yet, and most amazing yet, ignored all the advice members may have given you...
