Thanks for the info. I guess I'm lucky. I've owned 3 high power 445s with the AiXiZ 3 element lenses and never had any splash, or artifacts outside of the dot.

Are those lenses like the original 405 lenses AiXiZ used to sell? I think they were single element, but I'm not sure. If they are better lenses why are we using AixiZ lenses?

That can mean they are an older lot. These batteries have a 3-4 year shelf life IIRC. Maybe thats why you got a deal.

I know you've been looking for a bargain basement deal on a laser. But you're not going to find a >1W laser for much cheaper than this. Plus this is a high quality build, so you will never find this quality for the price he is asking. You'd be dumb not to jump in this for the asking price.

In order to play around with the dog safely is to use those $1 pointers. Yeah they die quick, but for $25 you can buy 25 of them. More than enough to last you a while. Anything over 5mW is not pet safe, and most pen lasers you buy are usually well over 5mW.

He makes all sizes. The one I pictured is a pen size. Its a little thicker, but the length spot on. I think you're taking the power of >1W to lightly. The last thing you want to do is put a 1-2W laser with a momentary button in your shirt pocket. It will easily burn you if the button is...
