    Thursday Night Laser Fun Times

Hey Lew, Great pics! I like how in 6874 & 6879 you have the "black triangle " inside the pyramid. Sometimes less is more

    some "new" pics 9/15/18

Hi Pelagius, Thanks! The only time I will use my safety glasses is when I get into my OCD mode and make sure every beam is exactly where I want it. That is usually after all of the lasers are secure in the clamps and the mirrors are in their general position. When that is done I will line up one...

    some "new" pics 9/15/18

Thanks everyone! Benn - Whenever I take these photos and work on them afterwards, I always see something in them that resemble something, but I never say anything to anyone as it is different to everyone. But it is a huge compliment to me when people say that the photo(s) look like something...

    some "new" pics 9/15/18

These pics were taken the end of July using my LK-PD2 projector (DMX controlled) and various colors of hand helds. I used one glass sphere, two- 1/2 glass spheres, hematite balls and some different mirror set ups. In many of them a 488nm is used behind the glass sphere. There are also some...

    Sanwu RGB review

Hey AD, Yes like that. Really nice shot. I like to get the "Fan" as low as possible over the camera to increase the effect. Over the years I have taken a bunch of outdoor fan diffraction shots in the fog, snow, and rain. It is hard to keep the actual diffraction grating from overexposing if you...

    Sanwu RGB review

Hey AD, More GREAT pics. I like the last two the best, nice colors. One day you should try to take some shots where the camera is set up looking at the laser and diffraction gratings and you will get the more spectacular "Fan" effect where you see all of the beams, not the dots

    Indoor Galactic Scenery

Hey Lew, I like the first two the most. The orangish color on the first one is very subtle but contrast real nice with the blues. And the magenta on the second.

Hi Alaskan, These pics from Egypt are really nice. Due to the world politics I am sure most of us will never make it to Egypt. I know in the past year or so, they opened a museum dedicated to only the King Tutankhamen treasures, and have put out items that have been in storage since the original...

    Indoor Galactic Scenery

Hi Lew, More great pics. I like 6033 the best. I have a load of different diffraction gratings I have accumulated over time. I should use some of them again one day

Great review AD!! Can't wait to see pics of it in action. My guess on the cost is 899 dollars. Thanks again for your work

Thanks Curtis, Been using my 488nm quite a bit recently. For me, the 488 contrasts with almost any color

HeyPaul, Duck and cover. Around the East coast I do not think there were many ICBMs. But once you get out to the Heartland there are silo’s all over. There is so much info out there now since tons of info was declassified in the late nineties. I enjoy photographing abandoned buildings and...

    some new pics 8/29/18

Thanks again! Red Cowboy - That would be great if could scan your NASA pics. I have never been to Cape Canaveral, though my wife and son did. There was nothing better than in our youth when a Mercury, Gemini, or Apollo mission went up. All three networks interrupted programming to show it, as...
