0 and 1 It wouldn't even work on Firefox for me, but on Chrome they all worked fine. :D

    Questions about powerful lasers *SOLVED*

Re: Questions about powerful lasers Said he can't use poison because of the pets. Yes. Xouls avatar is an actual picture of the permanent injury to his retina. This: Please note the safety glasses shown in the first few seconds, I am wearing them the entire time while shooting the video.

My Rainbow -- Post Pic's of Yours

That's likely one of the most creative things I have ever seen with lasers and fiber optics, amazing effect. Meanwhile, here is my newest laser that will kinda' do a rainbow. :(

    Google trick.

Yep. One of the few "google" easter eggs left. It "barrel rolls" the search screen. :yh: ARGlaser mentioned: Do a barrel roll Anagram (took me to wordsmith) recursion (took me to a wiki site) and tilt But the only one I found to work was "tilt" ... does the same as "askew" the others (like...

Hit in eye with 1000mw 445nm blue laser

I hope you purchased safety glasses. One for each? That sounds expensive. Link to all laser colors I prefer one set for many lasers. (of course not ALL) link :tinfoil: There is low Visible Light Transmission (confined to red-orange) through them, but they are the pair I wear most.

Did I catch laserbeams in flight?

Okay. This is dnar's (still) pic not taken with an iPhone; Thanks Steve. I will attempt to replicate this with at least 5 different cameras. (still, film, HD, [and hopefully ultra high-speed video]) Thank you very much for this. It provides me with a great deal of information to work...

Did I catch laserbeams in flight?

I didn't mean to confuse you with my ambiguous answers. :yabbem: I think people are not understanding my question. My question is not about the beams looking like they are going in "slow motion" like the (DeeJay) video you linked to. They don't look slow to me at all in my original...

    FAIL THREAD!!!!

Ah. I see. :thanks: OMG. Pretty good fails. (+rep)

Did I catch laserbeams in flight?

Thanks. Yes. I read the thread over at PL. :tsk: And I've seen the aircraft propeller vid: No worries. I already have a request in to Time Warp to "borrow" their camera. :wtf:

Did I catch laserbeams in flight?

Thanks for the link. :D But I'm still not convinced that it is purely an effect of the CCD (or CMOS) and shutter speed. So, to clarify: Will this effect NOT happen with a film camera?: Single picture taken at the "perfect" moment?

    FAIL THREAD!!!!

Um... I think I totally FAIL for not understanding. :o I don't see any "Nukes", plutonium, or U-235 manufacturing facilities in that pic. :cryyy: I guess this Wiki Entry should be updated?

This one is Pure Win.!!! +rep

Did I catch laserbeams in flight?

Hmm,... These sound like relatively adequate explanations. But I am not totally convinced. :cryyy: Maybe. I was using an iPhone4 which uses a CMOS sensor. I'm sure it doesn't make any difference as a CMOS video sensor typically captures a row at a time within approximately 1/60th...

FREE DIY open source BOOST driver!!! Tested & working!!

Yeah,.. Mine is Stainless Steel and weighs more than 50grams. But, at least at 600mW it doesn't get very hot, but the 10440 doesn't last very long at that power. :undecided: Personally, I know what powersource I will be using with this driver, so I don't feel a need for OVP. :yabbem:

Did I catch laserbeams in flight?

I shot this video at the Bay Area Laser Enthusiasts Meet last month. I slowed the video down and backed the frames up to try to figure it out. +186,000 miles a second, filmed? CBrVf2XI8kE Did I catch laserbeams in flight? I know that it looks like I am seeing the "back end" of the beams...

FREE DIY open source BOOST driver!!! Tested & working!!

Wow, nice. That thing almost looks smaller than my Trustfire XP-E F23, and maybe lighter*. :undecided: Check the LPM vid: EisKS5hHhSA *will weigh later today

    Opinions / Suggestions

If you look at the specs for those multi-wavelength ones, they are good against Green, Blue, Bluray and IR lasers. They do not block red (635nm or 660nm) lasers.

    REKE-500RGB @ LasersMan 209$* Shipped

Negative Ghostrider. For the handhelds, there is no guarantee that they will be up to spec or last very long. If you go with lazerer, o-like, or Rayfoss you have a much greater chance of gettting a very good laser, especially at Lazerer (power guarantee). :san:
