well if these(803T) are safe to crank up to 125 or 150, what mW output would you see at 125? 150? It now seems that with proper heatsinking, these would have a nice long life at those high currents

yeah mine is grounded also. And I have Rkcstr's driver, which means that the capacitor should be discharged already (I think that's what it does, not sure).

how sensative are these to heat? I just harvested one. Halfway through sanding off the heatsink, I tested it at about 45 mA. It worked fine and was outputting enough for me to know it was working (especially at such a low current). Then i kept sanding, cracked off the heatsink and pressed it...

or just power the laser of of some very small battery cells!! Just pop it out to replace or recharge!

They should have some sort of feedback system, to help out with that "perfect system" everybody wants. Make it so that after a purchace etc. you can say whether it was a good or bad site.

It depends on what kind of diode you are using. do you know if it is a 16x or 20x?

lol I bet somebody on this forum has a hand made portable laser that is stronger than WL's strongest laser!!! (maybe) but seriously post a picture I want to see this.

Re: Micro-Driver laser driver *NOW ADJUSTABLE* well 1 or 2 mm's is all I need. However, If I just look at it and can tell that it won't fit, and never will, I'll probably save that perfectly good driver to put on my lab style BR. No need to waste the driver. I'll let you know if this happens...

my most powerful laser is my DIY 250 mW. after that, its goes all the way down to 5mW. hopefull, though, I'll have a 125 mW green and ~80 mW blu soon

just a question... you don't HAVE to use the leadlights with the LED indicator, do you? is it just easier since it hase the spring for the batteries on it already? also, since you have everything removed there, did you have to glue the drivers/module back in place inside the body?
