Eh, I promised myself I wouldn't spend anything unless it goes towards a metal lathe for making fancy lasers. I could afford it, but it would half my spending money after I buy the machine, tools, and aluminum.

Why not run the beam through a lens with the improper coatings, like a 3 element for red or 405 edit: or just some other filter. Sorry, I'm not sure if that would work with AR coatings
