    Upgrade from 510mW to 1300mW?

Yes it will, Colour balance? My software allows for fine turning colour balance on the RGB lasers however, sometimes I want maximum visual power where colour balance is not important. What is wrong having 4+ watts blue/green beam that is not colour balanced with 1 watt red?

Interesting. The glass must be acting as a filter....not sure if it would get the CE stamp of approval however :)

    Upgrade from 510mW to 1300mW?

After buying a LPM and getting a dissapointing 510mW from my "800mW" laser I would like to upgrade. I can get a 1300mW green lab laser at a good price +- $900 I know the brightness won't double but will the brightness difference warrent this upgrade?

    1183mW 650nm Review

The laser arrived yesterday after only two days shipping. First thing was to measure the output...applied 5v to analog input. I was expecting 800-950mW but the LPM displayed 1183mW. I was amazed how bright the dot appeared. It was still day time so I closed the curtains to give an idea of the...

Blew my 500mw red. Bought 1 Watt

Laser is at customs and will arrive tomorrow. Gee only took two days to get here. FYI, as per Beam: (635nm 500mw) vs. (650nm 1115.36mw) 500mw 635 Red = 1115mw 650 Red I don't think the eye can distinguish 115mw..so I believe they should look equal brighteness. I'll take some pics and do a...

Blew my 500mw red. Bought 1 Watt

Yes, I knew that when I purchased the 650. But I wanted a deeper red. 635 is the brightess red around..personal choice.

Blew my 500mw red. Bought 1 Watt

After using my Laserbee and found out the 635nm laser was only doing 200mw I decided to investigate. The current was 850mA and after contacting the manufacturer I was informed the current should be at a max of 1200mA. I set it to 1100mA to be "SAFE" It produced 490mW. My happiness only lasted 10...

    Laserbee 2.5 USB. Readings?

First of all I’d like to apologise to Jerry. I no way intended to say that the Laserbee was faulty in anyway. I just got so many “incorrect” reading I got ahead of myself instead of doing some good laser troubleshooting. The short answer: The Laserbee works perfectly The long answer: I tested...

    Laserbee 2.5 USB. Readings?

I'll never rule out the possibility that I have bad labbies. The red won't suprise cause I thought it looked a little underpowered. Was expecting a brighter beam. I'll be disappointed if they are so much underrated cause I paid alot for them. I let the thermopile climatize and had the laser on...

    Laserbee 2.5 USB. Readings?

My laserbee arrived today to my delight. Rushed home to do some power measuring for the first time. Just got some unexpected readings on all my lasers. I'm I doing something wrong? 500mw 635nm - 205mw on Laserbee 800mw 532nm - 408mw on Laserbee 1000mA A140 445nm - 580mw on Laserbee 1400mA A140...
