    Interesting new laser...

I did! Very interesting. I look forward to reading about it's future applications!

    Enjoy this thread!

I just did. It's a comprehensive guide covering all the salient points. I do feel that it is encumbent upon my self to point out that the dialect used will likely cause confusion in some non-English speakers-or those who do not speak the dialect "Rap." That said, it is truly da shizzle! :-)

Review of the Sanwu Challenger II- 465 nm 2 Watt multimode

The fatter beams look more like SciFi weapon beams anyway. I hope to get an (Original series) Phaser Replica with Laser-hopefully a 1W 465. I got turned off of 532 nm by eye ache I got from an over spec "Cat toy" that I had hoped to use for presentation pointing. WAY too bright. No way would...

Review of the Sanwu Challenger II- 465 nm 2 Watt multimode

I'm glad you are enjoying it! Divergence at distance. I've yet to try mine beyond 30-40 feet. I do have a 3X BE. I don't imagine lighting clouds is a good idea in a city any way. :-) I do like the color of the visible beam. It's also easy to def-ocus to shine on objects without out enough...

Review of the Sanwu Challenger II- 465 nm 2 Watt multimode

Nice! That is going to be visible.

    That is beyond pretty cool!

Lasers used as Nano Tweezers and Optical fingers

    Thanks! That is very interesting.

Possible hoax laser, lots of cringe

A 1 W beam at that wavelength would be visible-let alone 4W. Agree with Laser Chick and Paul I do.

WTS SANWU Striker 7000mW Focusable 445nm Portable Blue Laser Pointer (Stainless) (PRICE REDUCED)

Hi August9 Welcome to the forum. I took a look at Laserpoints.com- I see where you got your initial price-fair based on Laserpoints prices- but-they inflate prices-I see a SanWu Challenger II 520nm 1 Watt for $779! They doubled the price. The same directly from SanWU is $380. They also sell...

WTS SANWU Striker 7000mW Focusable 445nm Portable Blue Laser Pointer (Stainless) (PRICE REDUCED)

Exactly. Also anything but the best goggles won't do the trick for a 7Watt. Eagle makes a 7 OD pair (I have). The best goggles, batteries and charger would help-since retail is $350 by itself.

WTS SANWU Striker 7000mW Focusable 445nm Portable Blue Laser Pointer (Stainless) (PRICE REDUCED)

Just a suggestion. Might be good to describe the goggles- that kind of power needs extremely good protection. Type of batteries? Charger? Thanks!

Review of the Directly-Injected 505nm Bluish-Green ("Mint Green") Laser Pen

I echo them The-LED_Museum. I'd not have one either-wondering if and when I would take it underwater-beyond the toilet tank! :-)

Prop Laser Pistol - Fallout "AEP7"

Ah! I see. That makes sense. I echo Paul's question on heatsinking. What is the replica made out of? I likely would have wanted to put a more visible 635 nm red in it.

Prop Laser Pistol - Fallout "AEP7"

Very cool Immo. I have wielded (virtually) one of those before! It looks like the beam comes from the left side instead of the front end. Is that true? I

    My experience with Sanwu

    Lovely beams!! :-)

Review of the Directly-Injected 505nm Bluish-Green ("Mint Green") Laser Pen

Nice! I may have to buy a few more to get more shades of Blue-Green.
