Well....the Near Field is a bar shape....max width about 7.5mm wide....approx. 100mm downbeam from the PCX lens. Look at the shape of the Near Field beam geometry as seen on the PCX lens... This large Near Field geometry is exactly why Jors did not want to use this LD on a Galvo Scanner...
