The Sale Recently i have been getting back into lasers and with all these new laser wavelengths coming out i kept my eye out for them. This past Saturday i stumbled across this awesome 495nm laser build by Lifetime17. I payed on Saturday, it shipped Monday and i received it today. Crazy fast...

do you plan on building a laser with this diode for your channel ? That would be awesome. btw that ruby laser build is crazy !!!

Yup Rich used the same driver. Thats more then I expected. Very very nice. Can't wait to get it now. Also should I assume the divergence is excellent becuase its single mode?

Podo said the divergence is better then the m140 diode. Which is pretty good imo.

How visable is the beam ? I bought a 495nm laser from Rich and im trying to picture how many mw I should expect and how visable the beam is. I know these are lower poweres diodess but in not sure if I should expect like 20mw 50mw or 100+ mw ?

Just wondering if anyone has a Sanwu beam expander they would like to sell. I figure I would first see if I could buy one from someone in the states vs having wait a few weeks to get one over seas. Thanks

Man id love to recommend there laser pens but I have had the worst experience with them. Like 4 or 5 years ago I had bought like 3 of them and they all broke with in weeks of getting them. One of them had an esd. Another one stayed at max power for 10 seconds then dropped a lot and the other one...

What is this n520 diode ? Is it new ? More power ? Divergence? Iv been out of this hobbie for awhile so I'm not in the know lol.

This was a 1.8w 465nm. I ordered this about a year before his demise. I was thinking a 1w green or a 1.6w 405 with that new multi mode 405 diode.
