The other user has said that the conversation is gone on their end as well. Maybe they go away after a certain period of time? I’ll talk to him again. Maybe I’ll see if I messed up and deleted them or something but considering it’s happening to both of us I doubt it.

Last time I checked I think it was about 20mm, and they fit two 18650s. They are completely empty from the switch up so you’ll have to fit a contact board or spring along with a heatsink. I can post a picture of what the original module looked like after work today. Not sure about the switch...

It's fairly easy to build your own that could be over 7W, I've built a few myself. And yes you can focus it, but you can do that with any other diode too. But with an open can, it is dangerous to remove the focusable lens because it risks contamination.

When he says "open can" its like having a lightbulb without the glass part. It's very susceptible to contamination and is easy to break. Many members here refuse to use or buy anything open can based solely on the fact it could break at any time. Buy this laser is like buying a car. The moment...

He's got a custom laser on there too and it looks like its mostly flashlight/car parts but the heat sink looks like something done here. He's selling the 2W for $214?? Jeez that's kinda scummy.

Maybe it's the camera, or maybe it's because the metal isn't polished, but that "brass" looks dark to me. Almost to a bronze color. Not sure about conductivity of bronze but it could affect the build. Maybe my eyes are just weird and seeing it darker than it really is:p
