A couple of things- If you use a DMM to charge your batteries, keep in mind the voltage limit of nearly all 18650 cells is 4.20 volts. Anything over that begins damage to the cell, heat, pressure and eventually... rupturing. Acetone will clean your lens (do not use acetone on plastic lenses)...

Beautiful unique build! As Paul mentioned, that's a lot of output for an M462. Like, the most I've ever seen.. from any MXXX laser! You might want to check with an ammeter that your driver is actually sending 1.8A to that diode; even if it was sending 2.2A or more it shouldn't be able to make...

That extra 5nm to 455nm would be worth the additional price to me.. along with what I think is a prettier shade of blue, it's also 7% brighter than 450nm for a given output power.
