Bizarre Home Electrical Problem (Pic Heavy)

The charger gives me a minor shock upstairs, but I am on carpet not cement there. I think if I were on the same concrete floor upstairs, I would get the same shock. I get the same shock from the battery for the UPS, and touching the frame of any car in my garage while it is charging. Really...

    Pluto-Green laser

I do, but only now that you mention it. It is not a link, and honestly, I would have asked where to buy one if I were interested, because I didn't even notice it. EDIT: the website doesn't even exist

Dude, did you look at the link? It's a picture. The double post looks accidental, but makes it look spamy.

Bizarre Home Electrical Problem (Pic Heavy)

Very interesting. I am going to try to shut off all lights and see if it stops 2.1 volts across hot and ground 32 volts across neutral and ground EDIT: UP to 122 across neutral and earth. I don't know what changed EDIT 2: I might have my pin outs backwards. 32 volts across the right pin and...

Bizarre Home Electrical Problem (Pic Heavy)

For a few months now, I have been getting shocked when I touch anything powered by a DC power supply that is not case neutral. The problem is so odd, I figured if I posted about it, no one would believe me, but my voltmeter shows it too. The problem occurs when you touch the output of a DC...

    Sound active ILDA show?

I just bought a RIYA DAC, to use with my Reke 500RGB. I have Spaghetti, but I cant figure out one important thing. If I program shows to a bunch of songs, but then there are a few songs that get played that I dont have a show for, what do I do? When I went over DMX, I would use Sound 2 Light in...

    WTB: RIYA Lite DAC

I am looking for a RIYA lite DAC. I was going to buy it fro dr.lava, but he doesn't sell them without LSX (I am sure he would if I messaged him), and I have heard a lot of bad things about him. Does anyone have one for sale, or another source for them?

Q: why are green lasers so inexpensive?

Green is near the human peak sensitivity. That means that mW per mW, green appears the brightest. Because of that, it appeals to astronomers, and can be bright even at safe powers, unlike 405nm.

Q: why are green lasers so inexpensive?

There actually isn't anything that they are worth harvesting from, because they are so popular (you can get them at Radio Shack), that the cheapest way to get them is to just buy a module (or pointer, or handheld). I guess the answer is hobbyists, and enough interest that they are mass produced
