Looking for opinions, tips, suggestions, and help on selling lasers

Hey Joe, Those are some very neat looking heatsinks, build's sounds good. I am very fond of the 18650 setup and its capacity after I used them for my high powered builds. Runtimes are amazing. Anyway, Fiddy, it's not that I am capitalizing on you guys, but I'm just re-inventing and making...

I'm $183 in the hole thanks to this company. Confused. Anyone know who they are?

Re: Relief LLC? I'm $183 in the hole thanks to this company. Confused. What? Why would they value a SAIK 445 as a camera lens at $822 ?? That's plain stupid. UPS does have ludicrous fees. I once paid $55.82 in brokerage when I received a Kindle valued at $150. So the brokerage fees seem...

    Zombie attack in Miami??

Shouldn't be too hard to get conclusive results from an autopsy if it's really that "bath salt" drug. Because this ain't no cocaine psychosis man... lol

    Wicked lazers importing idea

You're better off spending the same amount of money (or less) buying a laser from some of the sellers here in the B/S/T section, where you'll get more powerful, more compact, better engineered lasers at a better price. Oh and did I mention most sellers here have great support directly from the...

Changing Blue Laser Spectrum to be more visible

Hey, not sure exactly what you're asking, but if you're asking how much brighter a green is compared to a blue, you can use this Relative Brightness Calculator by Rhd to compare the brightness of various wavelengths. And I've never seen someone use a crystal for blue semiconductor diodes. I...

Cyber 445nm - 500mW Focusable Blue Laser Water Proof

^ Yup those will cover 445nm, up to 99.8% of it according to its spec sheet. For up to 1W, I'm confident those will be fine, but some might disagree.

I need help on how to find the right power to...

The word "retard" is a lot more insulting than a simple "dumb" or "stupid". It's like promiscuous vs a whore. And I know some people with retarded (used here appropriately) children will get very offended & hurt when people use that word to call someone or something stupid/dumb. But I have to...

The New Buck/Boost High Output Driver

np! And yeah you will want to test the battery contact board for areas of continuity before soldering to it :)

Cyber 445nm - 500mW Focusable Blue Laser Water Proof

Same! My 1st was a 150mW (133mW) Lazerer tiny pen. And in fact I found it easier to enjoy as I could point it indoors while my 1W's were hella uncomfortable for indoor use (and probably not healthy as well lol).

    Zombie attack in Miami??

You... are joking. Damn it, the nearest gun store to me is like 21km away :O Will lasers do it?

The New Buck/Boost High Output Driver

Hey Tom. I know you're asking foulmist but I think I can help answer some of your questions =) Compared to a linear driver, this driver will be treated just like any other boost driver (no power supply unless hooked up to a load, and only use one 3.7v li-ion). In addition, you'll need a...

Cyber 445nm - 500mW Focusable Blue Laser Water Proof

I suggest getting a lowered powered laser for your first, a 1W is quite a jump. Usually 50-150mW green is a great first laser.
