Ive pointed my open can at my skin and i can safley say that it does give off a nasty sting. I'm pretty dark skinned so that might be the reason. I had a 50mW red reflect into my eye the other week, and now there is this tiny tiny annoying spot in my left eye. Its hardly noticble unless i focus...

What rating are those caps that you are using there(the orange caps). The highest rating ceramic caps i can find are 0.22uF 50v. Are these what you are using in this mod?

1/2watt is enough, 1 watt and the resistor is bigger. depending on the current, you may be able to get away with 1/4 watt
