I really want to know something. If you buy a True 50mw DX green laser and its not putting out enough to be 50mw, could you safely pot mod it until it reaches the required limit? What I'm saying is, can you do it safely and not overload it.

Did you shave out some space from the back side of the lens? Use an X-acto knife and peel around the hold until you get really close to where the spring rests. If you sratch the lens a few times, its not the end of the world. I scratched mine 3 times and it looks kinda bad, but still makes a...

It can't be the spring or switch. It stops doing it after 3 seconds in 60 degrees. IN the cold it just does it constantly.

I know that the cold makes it change output, but why does it flash output from low to high rapidly? It is noticable when looking at the opening of the aperture from the side. Basically what I'm asking is what is causing the rapid unstable output changes? is it the diode?

They searched the area which was close to where I was. There was a guy on his porch watching me. I guess he thought I was using a laser designator for an air strike on an abandoned building or soemthing :-?... idiot. People should mind there business.

He Joenobody, I'm sure your camera doesn't suck as much as you think it does. Set it to macro mode. Usually a button indicated by a flower icon. thats usually how it it on a digital camera. take the close up pictures again with macro mode on.

One of my friends is a littlle weird. I told him to be careful with the red laser but he intentionally looked straight into it. :o He doesn't listen very well. He said he can see fine, but I'm sure there is unseen damage. It wasn't fully collimated, but still.

I'm not sure if what your seeing is normal. At night, I can see an aura around my green dot. Most likely, its the green light hitting the wall and coming back at you and it looks like that. I mean, that is what happens, but I'm not sure if thats what your seeing.
