Wow, thats interesting. You weren't even advertising or mentioning another laser company.
and they ban you? :-? Wow they really won't keep customers that way.
I bet they are losing even more money on this whole thing because they are probably hiring hundreds of people to monitor the forum...
WOW, I never thought I would see this day! KipKay is HERE! on laser pointer forums.!
I have nothing against you, just your laser videos.
You should make a video on how to make a laser with a driver. Or better yet, a dorcy jr laser.
Something that doesn't involve direct drive.
I'm fairly sure...
Yeah, that sucks it won't let you post a link. I think they do that so people don't register here to spam and put links to there porn sites.
But honestly, I don't get why they won't let you post a link to another section of laser pointer forums :-?
I'm pretty sure it means that it will start dropping the voltage below what you set it to. It will go from 3 volts and start going down.
I think it needs 5 volts to work good.
I didn't notice any steel pieces coming off of it. I don't use it near the laser side, just in the battery compartment of the back of the laser.
There is no need to tape such a thing together to reach the front spring. Its right there.
There is no need for me to buy safetly for IR. I don't even have that type of laser.
Its just one of those things you want to see. I'm sure we all thought to ourselves " can I burn this with my laser?".
Re: Safety goggles that came with Craftsman laser
I have a pair of Green blocking shades that are meant to make seeing outside a little more confortable.
I wouldn't use them for my safety though, its more like an experiment to quench my interest.
Why not?
I just called it that cause it would be something that someone wasn't expecting or ready for and also the person doesn't like it.
It seems similar to a prank. but whatever. More like a crime.
It makes you afraid when some idiot gets ahold of an IR laser. You could just be minding your business when suddenly you go blind. You wouldn't even know what hit you! :o
Its the worst and most dangerous of pranks.
Yeah focusing it is hard if there is beam scatter everywhere and auras.
I mainly only use my shades when burning stuff up close.
Some people where them outside. :-?
Which I see no point of diong. The purpose of using it outside is to watch how far it goes.
I use some really fine steel wool. Just roll some up so its a smaller diameter than a aaa battery. Tape around it until only the tip is showing. Push it inside the battery compartment and turn. Really simple.
The tape makes it sturdy so it can accept torsion. I keep it at my desk for cleaning...
