This isn't good for us laser enthusiast. I dont like how they described the laser as a weapon. They should have described it as "a peice of technology that must be handled with the utmost responsibility, and handled as if it were a weapon" or something like that.

yep that kit definitely looks perfect for these new 445nm diodes. Especially with the copper press fit heatsink!

hmm so if I wanted to run a diode at currents around 600-700mA's it would be better to use a kit that uses a 1850 battery

Jayrob you should make the press fit copper heat sinks for the pocket mini like you do for the 18650 kit! Also, would a rcr123 cell be able to supply enough current for these new 445nm diodes that are drawing 500+ mA's?

Yep, wicked lasers sent it to me for review. Guess they realized how pointless it is and they dont sell the 5mw model anymore haha

Came in a nice box, and also included lasershades Very large, heavy and solid feeling laser. AR coated front window. Disassembled, has a safety pin. Size comparison. Uses a 18650 battery. Very tight divergence. It also came with a power graph, it does 9mw. Even though it is very nice...

I had the stainless version of this flashlight. Its very nice but also super tiny, it would be very difficult to get a diode and lens in there. Dont even think about a driver haha.
