Technically far smaller numbers still burn if focused, which is what youll want to do. Assuming this is an engraver/printer type thing (i forgot to look at the link you added sorry ;)) youll want as small a dot as possible.

Well postimage.org is what i use to compress them, the mobile design also auto sizes them, it should be put into the desktop one. I would be willing to help with that but obviously i cant :/

It doesnt seem like you have gotten a straight answer yet... when it says "1w" as a rating (though unlikely) it means it outputs 1w of power, look up some videos of different powers and wavelengths to get an idea. Ive at least never seen the input listed in watts...
