PREVIEW: "Pico" - A really tiny 2.4A+ buck driver.

Amazing work. So if you don't mind me asking, what's the magic sauce? (i.e., what is the advancement that is allowing such smaller layouts compared to existing drivers?) Are you disclosing what part you are using? (Ok if not.)

Great idea, however the catch there becomes the fact that we won't be able to take advantage of the flat-rate shipping (i.e., it'll likely cost significantly more to ship a 35+ lb box around the country). Unless of course, it fit *inside* a flat-rate shipping box...

I'm wondering if we have too much weight in this box. (That's the second failure, in how many hops? 4?) 30 lbs is a lot to ask of one cardboard box. I realize we want to get our money's worth out of the flat-rate shipping, but it's going to be moot if the box fails in transit, and some...

    Steampunk Lumia #1

Nice looking setup, Jeff. That thing looks awesome. Where's the drive motor? (Or are you just turning it by hand?) Also, what's the big silver ring for?

    Personally Designed Host Build Thread

Classy is indeed the word. Wow. Very impressive. +rep Can you say more about how the side clicky (or momentary) button is secured? It looks like there's just a nut on the inside of the host, but is that it? How does the flat nut sit against the curved interior of the host? That must have...

Game: Guess the mystery object !

Ha. That's some messed up stuff. Lol. :) BowLingual - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I think it's safe to say none of us ever would have gotten that. I had no idea such a product existed. :) (We *were* pretty close, though!) Still stumped on HMike's item... Another hint?

Hi JM, Will there be a small notebook in the box, for people to indicate what they put in and what they take out? I think you mentioned this before, but wasn't sure.

Game: Guess the mystery object !

HMike, I couldn't find the exact model, but the ones on eBay all look pretty similar. There's a handheld transmitter part, and another smaller part that attaches to the collar. Some appear to be shock-based, but this one looks ultrasonic maybe. Just a guess. They can be used to stop dogs...

It's a remote training system for a dog. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sacat=0&_from=R40&_nkw=dog+training+system&_pgn=6&_skc=250&rt=nc (Oops, looks like I'm too late. Did HM beat me to it?)

Game: Guess the mystery object !

Well it looks like some sort of case, which straps on to something, using the stretchy thing on the back. Too small to be a sunglass case... Looks like some outdoor hiking/biking/camping accessory of some sort. For some reason it's got those vents on the front, either to let something out...
