Disneyland likes to use what called "Pepper's Ghost" illusions. Those types of illusions are actually pretty popular for people that like to go all out for Halloween.

Flux paste really helps with stuff like that. It gives the solder almost a liquid-like flow. The paste in a syringe is awesome. :beer:

I personally don't know how well fat beams will work. Between the small mirror surface area, and the very limited movement of the galvos, I'd think it'd just end up looking more like a blur on the wall rather then an actual pattern.

Flux paste is pretty much a must on small solder pads, where heat time must be kept to a minimal. I've built with several of those AixiZ drivers now, and with the paste I haven't had any issues.

Being that it's your first high power laser, if it ends up being anywhere near 2W, I think that you'll be happy with it. Assuming there's not going to be anything wrong with it that is. BTW, do you have safety glasses? You'll need a good pair if you're going to be messing with lasers of this...

IDK, 300mw of 532 would be pretty bright. And you don't have to worry about a big heat sink with a lower power build. 445 would still be cool though.

Definitely! Yours was made for a larger wheel. I have an '04 Mazdaspeed MX-5. So 15s fit it nicely.
